Visual Factory will create the next generation 3D immersive plug in to enhance the users' experiance surfing China Art 114 website. Visual Factory signed a new agreement with Beijing Hong Zilan Art Center to provide the new plug, RSA3DFE(c) as a base to its online 3D art galleries offering for the global market. The new plug will support all the spectrum of standard web-browsers and will enable web users to enjoy highly optimized 3D graphics for online art.

SINGAPORE’S HERITAGE AND MUSEUMS GO VIRTUAL WITH A PACKAGE OF ONLINE INITIATIVES
Working with the NHB, Visual Factory has created virtual galleries showcasing iconic artefacts from six museums, Asian Civilisations Museum, Memories at Old Ford Factory, National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Art Museum, Singapore Philatelic Museum and Reflections at Bukit Chandu.  Other institutions and organisations such as the Cape of Good Hope Art Gallery, Grassroots Heritage Centre, Nanyang Technological University Art & Heritage Museum and National Community Leadership Institute, as well as other government agencies have also ‘gone virtual’.

六个博物馆包括国家博物馆、亚洲文明博物馆、新加坡美术馆、新加坡集邮馆、鸦片山战役纪念馆和旧福特车厂资鉴馆。

Visual Factory业务经理雷兆良说,上网参观博物馆是免费的,不过想利用这套软件设立自己的虚拟博物馆,收费从3000元起。到目前为止,已有七个政府机构利用这一平台设立虚拟展馆,另外还有一家画廊,一间大学博物馆和一个基层组织也这么做。想上网,网址是www.cybermuseum.sg
